I've spent much of my working life maintaining, repairing and restoring boats, from traditional working craft to modern yachts and motor vessels. It's work that has given me an understanding of how boats are put together, where problems develop and what it actually takes to put them right.
That experience remains central to my work as a marine surveyor today.
