Yacht & Marine Surveys Boatbuilding & Restoration

Independent yacht and small craft marine surveys informed by years of practical boatbuilding, restoration and marine industry experience.

Why Boatbuilding Experience Matters in a Yacht Survey

March & Co Marine Ltd provides independent marine surveys for sailing yachts, motorboats, houseboats and liveaboard craft across East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincolnshire and London.

Led by Lyndon March, Affiliate Member of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association, we specialise in pre-purchase, insurance, condition and valuation surveys for GRP, steel, aluminium and traditionally built wooden vessels.

March & Co Marine Ltd undertakes yacht and small craft surveys throughout the South and East Coast of England, regularly carrying out pre-purchase, insurance, condition and damage surveys from Southampton and the Solent, along the South Coast, through the Thames Estuary, and north towards the Lincolnshire Coast.

Our core operating area includes Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, London, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, East Sussex and West Sussex, allowing us to provide yacht surveys and marine survey services efficiently across both coastal and inland waters. Alongside surveying, we also undertake selected boatbuilding, restoration, finishing works and vessel husbandry projects throughout the region.

While much of our work is concentrated within these areas, we are happy to undertake marine survey work and associated marine services anywhere in the United Kingdom. For projects outside our core operating area, reasonable travel and accommodation costs may apply. Any additional expenses are always discussed and agreed in advance, ensuring complete transparency and no unexpected charges.

“Lyndon provided excellent service and was super helpful through the whole process of the survey. As someone who is a novice with narrow boats, Lyndon provided a lot of support and answered any and a lot of questions I had. Thanks again!”
