We work regularly carry out yacht, boat and hosueboat surveys the South and East Coast of England, covering the coastline from Southampton through to the Thames Estuary, Suffolk, Norfolk, and up to the Lincolnshire coast. This area forms our core working region and allows us to carry out surveys efficiently and cost-effectively.
We are also happy to undertake work anywhere else in the UK. For surveys outside our core coastal area, reasonable travel and, where required, accommodation costs may apply. Any additional charges are always discussed and agreed in advance, so there are no surprises.
Our Surveys

Visual
Every survey begins with a careful, methodical visual inspection of the vessel from bow to stern, including the hull, deck, structure, rigging, machinery spaces, and onboard systems. Attention is paid to both obvious and hidden areas, using hands-on experience to identify potential concerns before moving to further testing or assessment.
Practical
Where appropriate, objective testing and practical assessment are carried out, including moisture readings, structural probing, and close inspection of known weak points for the vessel type and construction. These checks help distinguish cosmetic defects from issues that may affect safety, value, or long-term maintenance requirements.
