West Solent

The refinishing of the West Solent One Design was carried out in line with the owner’s preference for maintainability and longevity. All brightwork was finished using high-quality single-pack products, allowing for straightforward, regular refinishing without the need for complete strip-back, while still achieving a deep, traditional appearance. In contrast, the hull was fully prepared and finished using a two-pack coating system to provide a harder, more durable surface with enhanced resistance to wear and UV exposure. This combination ensured the yacht retained a classic aesthetic above deck, while benefiting from a robust, modern finish where long-term protection was most critical.
